Effective from 1 June 2026, Suidsee Security Solutions has been appointed to oversee access control and camera monitoring at Kleinbaai Lifestyle Estate.

Established in 2021, Suidsee specialises in professional estate security solutions and is also responsible for security operations at the neighbouring Romansbaai Beach & Fynbos Estate. Their experience in managing access control, camera monitoring, and estate security within the local area makes them a trusted and proven partner for Kleinbaai Lifestyle Estate.

Their appointment marks the commencement of Phase 1 of the estate’s enhanced security programme, with further upgrades planned as the development continues to grow.

What Phase 1 Looks Like on the Ground

The centrepiece of Phase 1 is a facial recognition access control system, allowing registered residents to enter the estate quickly and securely without the need for remotes, tags, or access cards. Designed for both convenience and security, the system accurately identifies residents under varying conditions, including when wearing prescription glasses or sunglasses, creating a seamless arrival experience while maintaining strict access control.

Supporting the technology is an on-site security officer stationed at the gatehouse, together with Suidsee’s dedicated control room, which provides 24/7 camera monitoring and operational oversight. The entrance infrastructure has also been upgraded with AcuSense camera technology. These intelligent cameras are configured to distinguish between people, vehicles, and environmental movement, significantly reducing false alarms while improving monitoring accuracy and response effectiveness.

Phase 2 will focus on the continued enhancement of perimeter monitoring and security systems as development progresses, building on the strong foundation established through Phase 1.

A dedicated gatehouse contact number will also be made available to residents for visitor access assistance and general security enquiries.
